Processing can be coordinated by Autumn Grove Farm with consumer/buyer's selection of packaging and meat cuts. Please contact the farm to arrange for a convenient time to make your selection from our herd.

We raise primarily Black Angus and are members of the Beef Quality Assurance Program. Our cattle are pasture raised and fed on over 90 acres of pasture land. The cattle are not given antiobiotics, growth hormones, or steroids. Our cattle live as cattle and are bred the old fashion way. Our on site bull "TQ" is an even tempered, muscular registered Black Angus. We implement many organic practices such fly parasites, pheromone traps, and muscovy ducks for fly control. In addition, we practice good land management with pasture rotation and natural land buffers to provide shade for our animals and to help maintain areas of natural habitat for other wildlife. We never allow any bio-solids on our farm land, and use our donkeys and goats for weed control. The cattle are not allowed in the ponds or creek; instead each pasture has permanent cattle waterers supplied with fresh water direct from the wells. We are currently enrolled in a volunteer federal government effort to increase the Virginia BobWhite population. Certain areas of land are dedicated to the habitat of the Virginia BobWhite, and we have seen a vast increase in numbers over the past two years.
